I’m fortunate! I started a job in 2000 that allowed me to pretty much work where ever I wanted. I was able to quickly work my way out of the office. It also allowed me the freedom and flexibility to work during hours I wanted. After fine tuning my skills I started offering my services to outside clients.
For most, the road isn’t quite as paved as having a 9-5 that lets you slip home with out much overseeing. Like many dads, you are searching for a way to move out of the office. You may not know exactly what it is you will do but you do know you don’t want the 9 - 5 gig any more. Instead you want to trade it for a 6 - 6 with a few breaks then another shift from 9 - 12.

This book covers birth in hospitals to births at home with midwives and waterbirths. Solid facts about the birth. A definite must read for someone wanting a natural birth in a hospital or at home.
