Dr. Hauschka’s Holistic Face Care Routine

I’ve been using Dr. Hauschka’s Cleansing Creme, Toner, Normalizing Day, Daily Revitalizing Eye Cream, and Lip Care for about 2 months now. I paid $172.50 for the set at Saffron Rouge. Cleanser & Toner
I’m happy with Dr. Hauschka’s organic skin care. The Cleansing Creme is an exfoliant and has a rich herbal smell. My skin feels healthily, moisturized just from the cleansing creme alone. The Toner comes after the cleanse. (Some years ago I skipped the toner step unaware that it actually helps your moisturizer work among other benefits like maintaining elasticity in the skin). This toner had a tea-like smell.

Moisturize
I was a bit unsure about the Normalizing Day Oil, as I had bought the set for normal to oily skin. The purpose of the oil is that it balances the natural oils in your skin. I use less than one full pump and that is usually plenty to cover my face and neck. The oil spreads well so definitely don’t overuse. Because I was used to applying a lotion, the initial feel of the different type of moisturizing took a few days to get used to but I definitely like it…I feel like I’m glowing! (There is also a moisturizing lotion available, it depend which skin type set you order). The Revitalizing Eye Cream is light and feels great…I’m not old enough for it to really have made any significant reduction in facial lines but I’m hoping I started early enough to keep them from coming.

Lip Care
The Lip Care stick came free with the set. I like the smell of it as it has a bright, herbal scent. It goes on and stays on well. Do I feel the moisture to my lips is superior…no, but the ingredients are quality and organic. I will spend the couple extra dollars to get this one even though it’s equal to any other I’ve used.

I’m completely satisfied with Dr. Hauschka’s organic skin care and will continue using it. Although I have never purchased Dr. Hauschka’s skin care from any sellers on eBay, the prices are much lower than buying from an online retailer. My suggestion would be to buy your initial products from an online retailer with a guarantee, decide what you like and then go to eBay for the good deals.

Tip
If you do any type of traveling and take your skin care on the go with you, I highly recommend getting a starter kit of Dr. Hauschka’s holistic skin care. I took my full size Moisturizing Oil with me in a nice little travel bag with the rest of my items and it leaked out because it didn’t come with a lid so the little pump is exposed.

The set is suppose to last 1 1/2 to 2 months. I don’t use the products everyday as I like to just wash with a washcloth and water a couple times a week. I will probably have to buy a Cleansing Creme before the toner and Normalizing Day Toner are gone. After using the product for almost 2 months, I still have an average of half of each container. It will probably last about 4 months for me.
